Barcelona has devised a special plan to prepare its Brazilian star, Raphinha, ahead of the 2026–27 season, a move aimed at ensuring his full recovery from the injury he sustained during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to the French outlet Foot Mercato, the coaching staff, led by Hansi Flick, has decided not to rush Raphinha back into action and to give him sufficient time to recover before joining the pre-season training camp in England, with the aim of preparing him in the best possible way for official competitions.
Barcelona places great importance on the Brazilian star’s physical condition, especially after he proved his technical value last season by delivering outstanding performances whenever he played and contributing crucial goals and assists despite injury-related absences.
The report indicated that Raphinha is not considering leaving Barcelona during the summer transfer window, despite interest from several clubs, including some from the Saudi Pro League. The player is determined to stay at Camp Nou and continue his journey with the team.
Barcelona officials believe that Raphinha’s return to full fitness will provide the team with a significant attacking boost, given his crucial role as a game-changer in major matches, in addition to his leadership within the squad.
The Barcelona management and coaching staff are eagerly awaiting the player’s return to peak form, counting on him to be a cornerstone of Hansi Flick’s project for the new season. They hope he will overcome his injury setbacks and rediscover the form that made him one of the team’s key players in recent years.
