Today, press reports revealed that Barcelona is interested in signing one of the international stars during the upcoming transfer period, at the request of German coach Hansi Flick.
The Catalan club seeks to strengthen the ranks of the first football team well in order to be present on the podiums during the coming period and take advantage of the good start provided by the Catalan team under the leadership of German coach Hansi Flick.
According to information received from the Catalan newspaper “Sport,” the Barcelona club management is studying the idea of signing the talented German star Leroy Sané, a Bayern Munich player.
Sané’s contract with Bayern Munich ends in June 2025, which makes him an ideal choice for Barcelona.
The newspaper added that the Barcelona club has put Sané’s name on the list of potential contractual targets during the coming period, by decision of German coach Hansi Flick.
The newspaper added that the German coach believes that the player will constitute a strong addition to Barcelona’s squad, as the player is distinguished from most of Barcelona’s attacking players in terms of skill, in addition to his ability to create goals.
The newspaper also added that Leroy Sané refused to renew his contract with Bayern Munich and decided to go to Barcelona, informing Hansi Flick of this decision. The player will be Barcelona’s first summer signing in the upcoming transfer window.
Sané is 28 years old and excels at playing in the right wing position. He moved to the team in 2020 from Manchester City.
Sané played for Bayern Munich in 179 matches in all competitions, scoring 49 goals and making 50 assists for his teammates.
Sané has achieved many titles in his career, most notably winning the German League three times with Bayern Munich and winning the English Premier League twice with Manchester City.
