Real Madrid officials are considering getting rid of one of the royal team’s stars after several weaknesses in his performance have emerged recently.
The heavy loss in the Clasico against Barcelona forced Real Madrid officials to re-evaluate some players and prepare for the departure of a few in the upcoming transfer window.
According to information from the Spanish network “Relevo,” the management of Real Madrid is ready to listen to offers for the Frenchman Aurelien Tchouameni after losing confidence in him.
Aurelien Tchouameni joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 from Monaco for 80 million euros in a historic deal.
Tchouameni started strong with Real Madrid, but his performance has strangely declined over the past season and so far this season.
The network indicated that Real Madrid’s management has completely lost confidence in Tchouameni, with the exception of the team’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who still believes in him. The club feels that Tchouameni is struggling defensively, unable to fill gaps, and is far from the required level.
The management also views Tchouameni as one of the reasons for Real Madrid’s 4-0 loss to Barcelona in the Spanish League. The network added that Real Madrid had previously refused to listen to offers for the French player, but has now agreed in principle to sell him if a suitable offer is received.
