Ancelotti’s departure from Real Madrid opens the door to a revolution within the team and brings three of the starting players closer to leaving the club in the upcoming transfer window!

In a painful and disappointing defeat, Real Madrid lost the Copa del Rey final to Barcelona, 3–2, in a match that exposed many of the team’s weaknesses. Despite strong performances from some players, the team was unable to overcome its Catalan rivals at crucial moments a situation that highlighted the need for players with greater character and consistency.

According to the Spanish newspaper ‘‘Defensa Central‘‘, this season has seen intense internal discussions regarding the futures of three Real Madrid players who may face uncertainty at the club. These players are Lucas Vázquez (whose contract is set to expire), Ferland Mendy, and Rodrygo. All three were highly valued by Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, but may not enjoy the same status under the expected incoming coach, Xabi Alonso.

Xabi Alonso is expected to play a key role in the team’s development, but ultimately, decisions regarding signings will remain with the club’s management. This has long been Real Madrid’s approach and is expected to continue as long as Florentino Pérez is president. However, this does not mean Alonso will be required to retain players who fail to meet his expectations.

At present, all players are looking forward to the upcoming season, aware that Carlo Ancelotti will no longer be in charge once La Liga concludes. Many believe that Xabi Alonso will take over as head coach, and players have already begun considering how to earn the trust of the Spanish tactician, who aspires to become one of the top managers in world football.

That said, everything remains subject to change. While no player has publicly expressed a desire to leave, the season is not yet over. With the summer transfer window opening next month, clubs are expected to begin making moves to strengthen their squads. As a result, offers for Real Madrid players are likely to increase, further fueling speculation about their futures.
